About Luke's Light
A light in the darkness. A path toward safety.
Our purpose
Luke's Light helps children, teens, and concerned adults find support when home feels unsafe. Created in memory of Luke Andrew Rogers, it brings together clear information, practical ways to ask for help, and links to established support services.
Remembering Luke
Luke Andrew Rogers (October 1, 2008 – December 20, 2023) was a creative teenager from Corpus Christi, Texas. A freshman at Veterans Memorial High School, he enjoyed drawing, writing short stories, and creating short films. Those who knew him remembered his kindness, his playful spirit, and the way his humor could brighten a friend's day. Luke dreamed of becoming a YouTuber and had a future he was just beginning to imagine.
Meet LukeHow resources are selected
- We use each organization's own official website for contact details, hours, and coverage.
- Before listing a service, we check who it serves, what kind of help it offers, its hours, coverage area, and how to reach it.
- We record the date a contact detail was last checked. A date appears on a resource card only after an editor has verified it.
- When information is outdated, we correct or remove it.
